The Power in a Hat
Some of you know that I often wear a hat with an IWW logo, it often leads to questions or comments from people. The questions and comments usually open an opportunity to hear work place experiences of others and to share the importance of labor solidarity. In the last day I have had conversations with a clerk at a department store, a checker in Costco, a checker at Bi-Mart, and a sales person at a mall. I gave the red "Join a Union" card to each and they said they intended to visit the web sites. I encourage each of you to find a way to invite people to ask about the IWW.
